When does it ship?
Your unit is in stock and on its way within two business days. Delivery within the UK usually takes about five business days. Delivery and customs are included in the price, there is nothing further to pay when your parcel arrives.
What is E Ink, and how is it different?
E Ink holds the picture with pigment, the way print holds ink. It looks like a printed poster, stays sharp in direct sun, is easy on the eyes at night, and the picture stays on the panel even with the power off.
How often does the picture change?
You choose, from a new picture every 2 minutes up to every 3 hours. Slower rhythms make the battery last far longer. A change takes a few seconds while the panel redraws.
Battery or cable?
Both. On battery it runs for months at a calm rhythm, and you can leave it on any USB-C charger and never think about it again.
What is in the box?
The 7.3 inch Avioframe Paper with its case and a short setup card.
How does Avioframe know the flights?
Aircraft continuously broadcast their position and identity over ADS-B. Avioframe reads the open ADS-B network for your address. No camera, no microphone.
How do I set up Avioframe Paper?
It is ready in a few minutes: switch it on, connect it to your Wi-Fi and set your location. After that the panel runs on its own and shows the flights over your home.
Does it work where I live?
Try it above with your address first. Coverage across the UK is among the best anywhere, and the approach paths into Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester carry traffic all day. The closer you are to an airport or an approach path, the more you see.
What about power and plugs?
The panel runs off any USB-C power supply, so any UK charger works. No plug adapter needed.
How do I change the view?
From your phone. Every Paper has its own setup link: open it, pick a view and the rhythm, and the panel follows on the next change. Nothing to install.
